How to Buy SORA (XOR) from the SORA Token Bonding Curve
The ultimate guide on how to buy SORA (XOR) from Token bonding curve (TBC) and how to be rewarded with Polkaswap (PSWAP) tokens
As you already know from the “PSWAP Rewards Part 2: The SORA Token Bonding Curve” article, you will be rewarded with PSWAP tokens if you buy the SORA (XOR) token from the token bonding curve (TBC) with ETH or DAI. 25% of the PSWAP token supply is reserved to give to people who buy XOR from the TBC with reserve currencies.
And now are you interested in getting rewarded in PSWAP tokens? Then you’re in the right place, because this article will explain step-by-step how to buy SORA (XOR) from token bonding curve (TBC) with ETH or DAI and get rewarded with PSWAP tokens.
This tutorial has been made very simple by breaking down the process of buying XOR from the TBC into simple steps and to keep this article as simple as possible, we will abbreviate the word “TOKEN BONDING CURVE” as TBC. Furthermore, this article explains the best strategy on how to acquire as many PSWAP tokens as possible.

Key Points
- It’s possible to be rewarded with PSWAP, if you buy with ETH or DAI the XOR token from the TBC
- The HASHI bridge is a technology that connects the Ethereum blockchain with the SORA Network. You can convert ERC-20 tokens from the Ethereum blockchain to the SORA Blockchain by using the HASHI bridge
- With the Metamask Wallet you can interact with the Ethereum blockchain and Polkadot.js Wallet is used for the interaction with Polkaswap on the SORA Network
- You need to use the HASHI bridge to move your ETH or DAI into the SORA network. You can do this without owning XOR tokens
- You need the Metamask Wallet where you need to store ETH or DAI in order to use the HASHI bridge, as well as the Polkadot.js Wallet for the interaction with the Polkaswap DEX
- The TBC interface is implemented with the Polkaswap DEX, so it’s very easy to buy XOR from the TBC in only 3 steps
- To get the highest amount of PSWAP rewards you need to buy XOR from the TBC as soon as possible, because the “event” is designed so that the faster you buy, the more PSWAP rewards you get. (Lower reserves→ higher rewards and higher reserves → lower rewards)
Before you Buy XOR from the TBC
⚠️ Before buying XOR from the TBC, you need to have ETH or DAI in your Metamask Wallet ⚠️ ****
Furthermore you have to consider two points:
- You must be aware that when you buy from the TBC you will not immediately receive the PSWAP rewards, but the PSWAP reward will be distributed based on the burned transactions. That is, when a transaction happens on Polkaswap, PSWAP tokens are burned and a portion of new tokens are mined as reward. This functionality will start only in a few weeks.
For more information please read the original PSWAP TBC reward article.
- You need to know after the purchase from the TBC, the PSWAP rewards do not appear in your wallet, but must be claimed on the Polkaswap interface. This functionality will go live in several weeks. For now you can only see your future rewards when making a transaction.
Buying XOR from the TBC in 3 Steps
1) Get the Polkadot.js Wallet
You need to store your ETH or DAI in the MetaMask wallet and to have the Polkadot.js Wallet in order to interact with Polkaswap. This means you need to use Chrome or Firefox browsers too.
2) Move your ETH or DAI using the HASHI bridge to your SORA network
The HASHI bridge connects the Ethereum blockchain with the SORA blockchain and can move tokens back and forth.
3) Buy XOR from the TBC
Buy XOR from the TBC using the Polkadot.js Wallet
Step 1 — Get the Polkadot.js Browser Plugin
Install the Browser Plugin
The browser plugin is available for both Google Chrome and FireFox.
After installing the plugin, you should see the orange and white Polkadot{.js} logo in the menu bar of your browser:
Open Accounts
Navigate to Polkadot Apps. Click on the “Accounts” tab.
Create Account
Open the Polkadot{.js} browser extension by clicking the logo on the top bar of your browser.
Click the big plus button
⚠️ It is very necessary to store the seed in a safe, secret, and secure place ⚠️
Name your account and set a strong password!
Step 2 — Move your ETH or DAI with the HASHI bridge to the SORA network
Connect your Polkadot.js browser wallet to Polkaswap
In order to interact with ETH coins in the SORA blockchain, it is required to use the bridge to convert ETH from the Ethereum blockchain to the SORA blockchain. The bridge HASHI connects the two blockchains together:
- Navigate to the “Bridge” page
- Connect your Polkadot.js extension wallet with HASHI bridge by clicking on “CONNECT ACCOUNT” button.
After clicking “CONNECT ACCOUNT” in the bridge page, you will be redirected to the account management page.
Account management page
Connect your wallet to the Polkaswap account page:
Select the account you want to interact with Polkaswap.
Add the token in the account management page
Once the wallet is connected, you can see your address at the “destination” box.
Click on “ADD TOKEN” in order to add ETH or DAI to the account management page.
- Choose Assets
After you have successfully added ETH or DAI to the list in the account page, you will receive a confirmation notification.
- Go back to Bridge page
Connect your Metamask browser wallet with the Polkaswap DEX
- Connect the MetaMask wallet with Polkaswap
- Choose ETH or DAI
- Enter the amount of tokens you want to move to the SORA network
- Click on the “NEXT” button
- Confirm the transaction on Polkaswap
- Confirm the transaction with Metamask
After 30 block confirmations (around 5–7 min), you will receive a transaction confirmation.
Now your ETH are on the SORA network and you can start to swap ETH on Polkaswap
Step 3 — Buy XOR from the TBC
- Choose the assets you want to swap and type the amount you want to convert. In our example it is ETH and XOR
- Click on the gear icon
The transaction settings will be displayed after you clicked on the gear
- Here you need to click on TBC
- Swap now the ETH for XOR and confirm the transaction with Polkadot.js extension
After you completed the confirmation with the Polkaswap UI and Polkadot.js wallet extension, you will receive a transaction confirmation
